Aleks Svetski: Bushido of Bitcoin, Feudalism & Artificial Intelligence
“The playbook today on a Fiat standard is to figure out a way to lie, cheat, get into central banking, get into politics and if you can’t get into central banking or politics, get into big business and get as close as you can to the monetary spigot. So all of the incentives align you in such a way that you’re basically trying to win at the expense of your soul, at the expense of your honour, at the expense of your integrity. The incentives push all of civilization in that direction. Whereas I think that on a Bitcoin standard, for example, there’s a new playing field and that new playing field will require a new set of rules.“

Aleks Svetski is an entrepreneur and the co-author of the Uncommunist Manifesto with Mark Moss. He is also well known for his show Wake Up Podcast.
I caught up with him at BTC Prague and we discussed his ideas about the Bushido of Bitcoin along with chivalry, warrior ethics, collectivism, A.I., transhumanism, and whether or not Bitcoin changes you.
