Swen Lorenz: Major Sark Announcement
Published
"They fired everyone overnight... made their entire operation dormant, closed all the hotels – it was kind of like a power move, a bit vindictive."
On today's episode of the podcast, I’m speaking with Swen Lorenz once again. Swen co-runs the Sark Property Company, and as the title of the episode suggests, they have some exciting news about their investment plans and the future of Sark.
I caught up with Swen in London a couple of weeks ago but held back the episode until The Sunday Times published its major exclusive article on the same subject a few days ago.
In this episode, we discuss the Sark Property Company's upcoming cash bid for the Sark estate currently owned by the Barclay family. This should be of interest to you whether you’re a Sarkey, an incomer to Sark, or simply Sark-curious, as I know many of you are.
Enjoy the conversation.
